Anybody use one? I know 5.11 is a good brand, but never heard anything about their belts. I would be using it for occasional carrying of my Sig during alternative methods deer. I would probably have a Safariland holster, Safarilandag pouch, and Ka-Bar kydex sheath. I want to know if it is trustworthy for climbing tree stands, and just general walking through the woods. Any other suggestions would be great too!

I use the Trainer Belt (http://www.511tactical.com/All-Products/Accessories/Belts/Trainer-Belt-1-12-Wide.html)a good bit with a variety of holsters and have been pretty happy with it. The quality seems good and the easy adjustment is great.

^^^ what he says.

I use a Trainer and carry using it as my daily carry belt. Very stiff and infinately adjustable. That and a pair of 5-11 Khaki's and I am good to go. Excellent products.

5.11 is a decent brand. There are a few other synthetic models & styles.
Some like horsehide, steer, bull, rhino, elk, etc.

I'm about to order a work belt from Amish Leather, a company I saw recommended on another forum. They are cut from 12-13 ounce cowhide, heavier than anything I've seen advertised in a long time. I'll let you know how it works as a carry belt.
