I got an H&R model 157 .22 hornet for Christmas. Where can I get a scope mount base for it?

SK, you might contact H&R and find out what they use on their scope ready models. But I didn't find any listed for your rifle. Your only two choices that I see are have one custom made from a Warne blank or have a quarter rib installed. George

Contact NEF @ http://www.newenglandfirearms.com. Get the phone # and call them. The catalog I have shows tha bases $15.

nedfig, what catalog do you have? I called NEF, they refered me to Gunparts Corp. They don't show one in their catalog or on the website, cust. service rep. wasn't able to find one either. The reciever has been drilled and tapped, possibly for an aftermarket mount.

It is the catalog that came with the rifle when I bought it. When I get home tonight, I will get the phone number and part number and post it.
