Gun Finishes

I'm going to refinish a Hi-Power and want something more rust resistant than blueing. Can someone explain (and give opinions) the pros/cons of different finishes on the market (nickel, Rogard, etc.) Thanks.

I would go with hardchrome over nickel and any of the teflon finishes (Black-T...etc) based strictly on durability.
