Does anybody know what these things are worth? In decent shape. It has the gold medallion on the stock that says Safety-Ethics-Sportsmanship.

Its the kind of a rifle you give to a Boy Scout.
Someone who will take the meaning of those words on the coin Seriously.

It'll also shoot like a dream and give you many years of pleasure :)
Those Micro-groove barrels are capable of precision usually seen in much more expensive rifles.

Clean it & enjoy it...or find a nice young kid who could use a good rifle to learn with and pass down to his kids/grandkids.

As the rifle ages, it will usually need a new buffer & recoil spring around every 20 years or so...found cheaply at Numrich and from Marlin itself.
