Thinkin about getting my first AR. Does AWB apply here in Michigan?
Collaspable stock OK? Not allowed?
Flash hider OK? Not allowed?
Anything else regarding MI and an AR?

The biggest problem you will run into is that Mi defines anything less than 30 inches at the shortest possible size to be a pistol. So if your AR with a collapsible stock is 29.5 inches in length fully retracted it is a pistol and must be registered as such. This changes in January 2013 as the legislature decided to go with the BATFE standard.
There is no AWB in Michigan, no magazine restrictions, no evil part bans. There is no state registration of long guns.

There is no AWB in Michigan, no magazine restrictions, no evil part bans. There is no state registration of long guns.

The Michigan hunting and trapping rule book states: "I is unlawful to hunt with a simi-automatic shotgun or rifle that can hold more than six shells in the barrel and the magazine combined unless it is a 22 caliber rimfire".

Just get a five round magazine for it, and you will be OK.
