Not to long ago I bought a Bushmaster XM15-E2S. It shot great straight out of the box shooting a couple of 1" groups, using a scope. I never had a FTF or misfire. Today my Son brought one too. He says that minus the front grip it's almost identical to the M4 he carried in Afghanistan.

I beat mine to death and it still runs great. Good rifle.

I think the Bushmaster is highly under rated. Mind didn't seem to need the break in most people talk about need with their gun.

Bushmasters are much better rifles than some make them out to be.

My first AR was a Bushmaster Patrolman's carbine and it was excellent. I regret selling it, but it had to be done to help fund my house purchase.

+1

I bought a BM Patrolman's carbine when they first came out. The only moving part I have changed is the RE. Installed a mil-spec RE with a H buffer. Thousands of rounds with the non tested BCG and still going strong. Good indication that batch testing does work.
