95% Done with .50 Beowuld AR build - pic

Im on my way to the Gunshow tomorrow to find the right rings for my Nikon Slughunter and the Beowulf will be complete - at least for now :-).

For those of you who have never seen this beast up close here is a comparison of the muzzle to a quarter.

I would love to build a .50 beo gun. It just sucks I would be limited to 7 round magazines.

The 30 rd AR mags can hold 10 Beo rds. So when this crazy government starts restricting mags to 10 rds AGAIN I'M GOLDEN.....

That logic wont fly here. If X magazine can feed 16 rounds into some gun somewhere even if you don't own it it's still a felony

The ejection ports are enlarged at the factory to allow the 50 cal cartridge to eject properly. The covers don't lock because of this so they don't mount them. There is a guy that makes custom ones for $40....We'll see if it is warranted or not.
