Hey Guys, I have been trying to decide what stock to get for my Ruger 10 22. I have decided to get the Houge Stock for the standard barrel channel.
The only thing i cant decide is if i should get the Black or the OD green.

Please Post your opinions!!!!

Have a tan Hogue on my 10/22 rifle, wanted something light colored for desert use.
As far as your decision on black or OD goes, just get whichever matches your earrings the best.

No, No, stocks are supposed to match your belt and shoes.

I would get the black.

I want the Houge Overmold, but they do not make one for the 10/22 Takedown.
I do not want a folding (AR) style. Anyone know of another choice for this new model?

Is the OD green a light green or dark green?

OD Green on a blue gun, black on stainless.

I can't stand the Hogues on a centerfire, too heavy, thick and clunky, but they add just enough heft to a 10-22 to help it feel and balance well.

Not a Hogue, or a 10-22 but an example of a green stock on a blue gun

Of course green does not look bad on stainless either.
