Hey guys i'm looking at a new stock for my Ruger 10/22. I cant decide between a Houge Overmolded stock in OD green. Or a Arcangel Deluxe Target Stock.

For my usage, I prefer the Hogue. Guess I'd have to ask what you intend to use this "mostly" for; Bench or Field? ... :confused:

Hands down the Hogue.

I went through this a couple of years ago, handled all of the options I could find, did my research, but the deciding factor was how the Hogue feels and handles.

I am biased because I learned on the traditional rifle stock platform and while I own pistol gripped rifles, I prefer the old school standard rifle stock platform.

BTW, when I went through this exercise I had no budget in mind for the stock. Like scopes, I search for best value for the money, not price.

I was very pleased to find that my ultimate choice was also the cheapest option I was looking at.

Another worthwhile option for the 10-22 are the Hi Tec peep sights.
