Mossberg AR

I just purchased a Mossberg AR Hunter series. Haven't been to the range yet and if anyone is curious it really needs a trigger. My question, is the front swivel stud for a bipod or the sling....BTW it appears to be a great gun for the money.

I'd say that front stud is for 'either/or'. PLEASE give us a good in depth range report when you get it triggered and to the range- I'm curious as all git-out over those things.
