Hey everybody,
Yesterday I puchased a Winchester 94 in .32 Win. Special. I've always lusted after the old lever action rifles :D. It was produced in 1956. I was wondering if anyone new about the quality of production for that year? It is in excellent condition and the action is smooth as can be. Also it has the initials 'JT' imprinted just above the trigger. I was wondering if that might be a makers mark? Appreciate the feedback!

The M94 from the 1950's were some of the very best! :)

Good for you! Old Pre-64 Winchesters were some of the finest American rifles ever made.

Something like 79,704 Model 94s were made in 1956. I don't have the break down by calibre, but I'd guess the 32 Specials were in the minority.

Beutiful rifle Eastbank! I'm taking it out to shoot it for the first time today. It took a while to find the ammunition. I'll let you all know how it goes.

With the exception of a 1917 SRC and pair of 79/80s all my 94s are 50s (1954 to be exact) .30-30s. Fine rifles and your caliber's a good one too, though availability is a relative irritant vs the .30-30s. Enjoy!

EASTBANK, what a handsome rifle. Just enough use to add caractor and all original. It is interesting to find a sporting carbine with a standard carbine stock.
