As a suggestion, tilt the revolver to the right as you cock the hammer; this may help the loosened, fired caps fall free. Works for me :)

love hearing the histories behind the revolvers you shoot in your videos.

cant imagine how the folks dealt with the cap problem back in the day. looks like a serious complication if they were chasing a bad guy.

Is filling the hammer void common knowledge? I bought a buddy an 1862 police for his 50'th b-day and he's been having the same problem with his caps as the guy in the video.

Pretty common.
