View Full Version : Pistol Stand From Scrap

February 7, 2012, 09:02 PM
Wife just finished making a pistol loading stand for a friend of ours. All she had
was just a couple of scrap boards and no tools. It is suprising what can be done sometimes. It's not pretty, but it will do what it's supposed to.

Looks good enough to me that I'd use it as a display stand too.

My loading stand is way uglier than that, made out of plywood and screws.

Also, on my TC Patriot pistol, with great superhuman effort, I successfully resisted the temptation to polish the brass to a bright luster.

....that flow from materials that just happen to be at hand.

I think it lends an air of authenticity becuase I believe that is what our forefathers would have done.

Good serviceable design. I have built some for C&R's as well as single shots. If you don't mind, I'm going to copy some of the features that you are showing. Thank you for your post. .... ;)
