How nice the wood looks on this Shotgun. Heckler & Koch Gold Lion manufactured by Fabarm. I pulled it out to clean up a bit tonight and looked closely at the wood and never realized how nice it looks for a gun I paid less than $400 for on closeout.

I have seen several of these guns and all but one had exceptional wood for the price. I was told by one owner that the stocks came from Turkey. Not sure if thats true or not.

Really? Interesting, makes them a sleeper in my mind then because they shoot really well also.
I checked last night and I paid $359 for this one.
I don't buy on price alone very often, but this was too inexpensive to pass up. I needed a backup gun at the time and now have other options so this gets very little use.

I'd have almost paid $400 for that just to look at it. No kidding.
