Winchester 94 action

Is there a way to smooth out the action on my Winchester 94? It's an 1981 model top eject and when I cycle the lever, sometimes it binds a bit. Any ideas?

Any competent gunsmith should be able to smooth out the action provided there isn't something seriously wrong with the gun in the first place. Below is a link on smoothing out the Win 1894 Trapper and a link to a number of "levermiths." Good luck.
