I found these in a box of items I purchased at a sale, the only markings is the name KING-PIKE, there was also a set of plunger type rings, not marked, it looks like Bausch & Lomb without the adjustments. Were these made by Bausch & Lomb?

I am pretty sure it was a separate company.

See an old advertisement at:

Edit to add: Well, darn, I can't get back to it either.

Look like pre-war Model 70 bases, and you are missing the center spring part of the mount.

I'm not sure what spring you are reffering to but I have the plunger type rings, that look like Bausch & Lomb.

Bausch and Lomb bases have to have adjustments because the B&L scopes had no internal adjustment. You could use B&L bases with any scope, but you couldn't use a B&L scope with non-adjustable bases.
