Been looking at collapsing or folding stock options for my last M1A. There are quite a few designs out there BUT the feel of them are not equal. Just thought I wanted an EBR until I actually held one and felt the weight. The TROY is heavy too. I've already got some heavy rifles so now I know to "Get Lite!!"
The lightest and strongest stock I could find is made by McCann Industries up in Washington. If any of you have experience with this fella or products, be sure to pipe in and let us know. Reason why is I just ordered his "Carbon Fiber" M1A stock. Pricey but WAY cool. Sounds like 3-4 months backorder but quality ain't quick, ya'know?
Here's a couple pics of what I ordered...
