I would like to hear from anyone who has used the 9.3x62mm on a brown bear or any other dangerous game and if it gave satisfactory results.
Also, any kind of cartridge details if handloaded ( bullet make and weight, powder brand and charge) or factory. Thanks.

Its the same as a 30-40 krag ballisticly with a bigger 300 gr bullet, so it should be plenty, but not for longer shots.

I have not, but have a lot of experience with the .35 Whelen. It is very close to the 9.3 x 62 performance wise, I doubt if any animal could tell the difference. I have had great success with the Whelen on grizzly, moose, muskox along with a lot of smaller big game.

the nine three, as it is known in africa has a cult following. it has taken all the dangerous game in africa and the owners of these rifles would not change it for a 375 H&H. a friend of mine uses his 9.3 to take wart-hog, the result on these hogs are impressive.
