I have recently heard that Nebraska is now granting reciprocity to states that meet or exceed its standards. This is good news!! I no longer have to avoid Nebraska!!

I hope this leads to more states getting on board!!

This is great news!. I'm very happy to see Nebraska start some real reciprocity with those states that honor its permits and training.

Now can we get Iowa to do the same?

LOL. Nebraska just changed the law to comfort the people who have to drive through endless miles of nothing.

Only States that have similiar or better training before permit is given are recip, some states didnt make the cut. They did however accept Iowa so we can carry into neb if we want. Personally I think Nebr CCW is a joke. Private company does training you get a cert. In Iowa you are trained by deputy sheriffs and of course cost is a lot less in Iowa.

I live in North Dakota and my daughter lives in Neb. I have a ND and a MN.
CC. so my MN covers me in Neb. Trouble is during the trip I go through Iowa.
As I understand it Iowa does not recognize ND or MN? I hate being disarmed in this day and age.
Does anyone have knowledge of a way around the Iowa CC?
