Hi,

Is there anyone here who could help me to get more info about this weapon? I.e. the country of origin, appr. age and current cost?

The gun is currently in Norway, where it was stolen from Nazists during the War when they were melting the weapon confiscated from the civilian population.

Thanks in advance.

The lock looks like some sort of mule-eared underhammer - but ID is a long shot ( ;) ), w/o some clue as to the barrel & receiver top markings, if any.

Your gun looks very similar to a Norwegian military breech loading percussion rifle ("Kammerlader M.1859") manufactured by Kongsberg Vapenfabrikk in 1860. At least, it's from Norway. See http://www.collectiblefirearms.com/RiflesAntiquePercussion.html with lots of links to detailed photos
