Just wondering if anyone here collects ordanance (grenades, mortar rounds)? Here's my small Japanese collection, minus my ceramic grenade.

Cool!

I don't have any real stuff, only a couple of dummy grenades and a 3.5" rocket.

Could you post a link to a higher-rez photo?

cool... Forgive my ignorance, but I'm curious, when you collect ordinance, is it all "live," or is it all decommissioned or whatever?

Thanks.

Are the Type 97 and Type 100 both 81mm?

I think I've read that the Type 97 came in 81 and 90mm. Just another example of the logistical nightmare that the Japanese had with all their variations.

Mine are both 81 mm, I had no clue about the 90mm. Now you gave me something else I have to look for!

I collect a little brass. Some 37mm and 105mm anti armor and a 6 inch casing from the wreck of the Maine.
