I posted earlier that I am going to Texas on Sat and will be there about a week. Was just curious if I see a deal on anything on my wishlist (guns) what is the procedure to buy there (Texas) and bring back here (Illinois).

For long guns, you can buy them and take them home.

For hand guns, you can buy them and have them transfered to an FFL in Illinois.
