All,

I could use some help to date this gun and the approx value. The serial is 9Z2---- and is a 20 gauge Belgian. Through looking at the old codes I think it is a 1959 model but I am not sure. Please advise.

Thanks,
Barr

I have looked at this site and is why I think it is a 1959 model. But the site does not say what a "Z" model (from the serial) would stand for. As in 9Z----

9Z is a 20 ga Auto 5 made in 1959.

The Z prefix indicates the Light version of the gun. The "Magnum Twenty" version has an "X" in the code, but it was not produced until 1967.

Your gun was made in just the second year of production for the 20 ga Auto-5.
