Went to the Range yesterday to shoot my new Mosin, said I couldn't cause my ammo was steel(magnetic). Which non -magnetic ammo ya'll use?:o

I just checked a box of Prvi, it's non-magnetic and shoots pretty well too.

What kind of a range did you go to?

Yeah, i've run into that problem as well. I used to grab the winchester "white box" from Big 5 Sporting Goods, but now all they offer is this absolutely junk ammo. I'll have to look online to find some. A good rule of thumb is if the 7.62X54R is brass cased AND boxer primed, it's usually range safe.

Outdoor world in Fort Lauderdale/Dania Beach 75' rifle range and 6 50' handgun ranges. He said my bullet would end up in the boat dept.:) and It was silver Bear ammo
