thats kind of high for a used one but then again i would need to physically see it to determine what a reason price cost it is for me, technically it isnt bad considering a new one can cost about $850-900

Based on the described condition that's a little high for these parts too. Then again, isn't everything more expensive in SoCal?

for comparison
I see 870 express used, stock set up for $295-$315
mossberg 500&590 anywhere from $350(500)-$500(590) new
remington 870 express new for $550-$600
I haven't seen many 870 wingmaster new, but the ones I've seen were $650-$800 new (stock)
gas is $3.15-$3.20
a box of wolf .223 $10
a 'value pack' of 100 federal/winchester game loads 12ga at walmart $24
ruger 10/22 new $230-$260 (called "on sale" at $230)
rem 870 police 5 shot 18" synthetic bead sight $489 new
11-87 Police 12ga 18" Syn Stock, Wilson Combat Ghost Ring Sight $859 new
870 EXP HD 12ga 18" 7 shot, Syn Stock $369 new
glock 17 full size 11 shot $550 new

on the left side, it reads remington 870 MAGNUM wingmaster, I thought (i could be wrong) that all the wingmasters made in like the last 50 years were 'magnum' as long as the barrel was right.

I think it is a 'classic trap' version, but the fore end and stock are synthetic, not wood.
