rifled slugs through rifled barrel

how many of ya'll shoot rifled slugs through a rifled barrel?

i have done it with very good accuracy. the lead does not hurt the barrel, the cost is 3x cheaper than the sabots.

however, the barrel becomes lead fouled and very dirty and hard to clean.

i pm'd 2 guys about it but anybody else shoot sluggers out of their fully rifled barrels?

just curious. been having slug frusturations and sick of spending the big bucks on ammo.

My hunting partner does but his round count isn't enough each year to get lead fouling. I just picked up a rifled barrel for my Mossberg. After doing the same research you are doing, I found 2 brands of inexpensive slugs that are not sabotted - Brenneke K.O. and Remington Buckhammer. Unfortuneately, neither are sold locally.

I have and will again if I hunt with it. good to 100 yds and probably farther.
