ok i did it, i just traded my smith .357 for an skb xl900 12 ga.
i'm thinkin i got the better end of the trade but i already miss that beast i got to replace her soon i think.:confused:

I'm a sucker wheel guns and blued k-frames in particular.

I wish I could say something about the shotgun but i don't know anything about that model. I have an skb 500 that is a sweet shooter.
That's a nice revolver. I used to hoard smith revolvers until I became really bored shooting paper targets. I still have one, a 4" Model 624.

Been there, done that. Sold my S&W .357 in order to afford my latest shotgun. While I do miss it and may buy another (this time a Ruger), I feel that the shotgun was the best way to go. This is due to the fact that the shotgun will find much more range time/use vs any revolver...in my hands anyway.

yeah that was my thought as well, The shotgun is a lot more versatile and i can feed my family with it, not just defend it.
still, there is something iconic about the 357 it just gives me warm fuzzies
to have it in my closet.
anyone got a .357 collecting dust? oh and while i'm at it I'll also take a Henry repeater chambered in the same caliber.
