S&W 686 plus 2 1/2" barrel report?

Wanting to get the above and curious who has one and how do you like it? Best place to buy? To big and heavy to carry concealed? Ammo you carry? Shoot? Any and all you can tell me would be helpful. Thanks

Well... I've got a Ruger GP100 6" and it's barrel report from magnum loads is friggin' loud at least. Wouldn't know about a snubby like that, but I would kind of worry about flashblindness if you needed a follow up shot as opposed to report. I carry .38 Special +P Golden Sabers in it, that really cut down on the muzzleflash.

I've only carried for a little while, but I figure even though that it's heavy- the one day (if ever, god forbid) you need it, you'll be glad it's big and heavy.
