Hi,
just purchased a new SP101 3" .357 and am ready to go to the range with a box of wadcutters. Was wondering if you just shoot the box or fire x rounds and clean the revolver and repeat-if so would appreciate some detail. What sort of hearing protection is good to use. Also anyone concerned about the lead dust and your health.
Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Clean it when you are done for the day. That is how I have always done it. You can get a pack of ear plugs for 99 cents. They work fine. I wouldnt worry much about lead exposure. Just dont chew on the bullets.

i dont like to fire those all lead bullets through my gun, makes a helluva lead buildup. i dont shoot very often at all, just enough to stay proficient, and i only shoot fmj through my gun. keeps the barrel cleaner and prevents lead buildup

I agree, I wont shoot ammo without a jacket on it.
