I thought Browning quit making the Superposed in the 1970s. They're still in production for lots of money. I saw it at http://www.shotgunlife.com

They never really quit - it is still on their website - under the custom shop.
The superposed has a cult following / but personally, while I am a big Browning fan - and own many Citori's / before I were to order a Superposed, I would seriously consider a Kolar or Krieghoff.

Greetings SGL and welcome aboard.
I'm under the same impression as BigJim about the Browning Custom Shop. I've seen mention of custom Superposeds, but no mention of prices -- you'll need deep pockets. I suspect you can get one without side plates for a lot less than $80K mentioned in your link. I shoot Perazzis, but wouldn't get a new one without giving the Kolar a very serious look-see.
