1) Deer (hopefully soon to be elk once I can afford the time for the second license)

2) Rabbit

3) Crows

And BTW tree rats taste great and are game animals, not nongame. But if you don't eat them I suppose they could be nongame

Awwww, come on! What about all of us folks who are bursting at the seams with opinions... but don't do much hunting? :(

FWIW, I support hunting and conservation, but had no hunters in the family growing up, so I was never mentored in hunting. I have hunted a couple of times (waterfowl) and went on a boar hunt, but I've never been deer hunting.

Thank you so much for the support Brother.
We have statistics where we talk about the people who support us as hunters. Help me word a survey question that would turn the wheels in a 12 year old mind and I will use it also. I am struggling with wording a survey question to do just that.
And thank you all for the input!
Look out snakes! never even gave them thought:eek:

Then what the heck are you doing in the Hunting forum? And by the way, most gun owners are hunters. Very few shoot paper.

Then for the ones saying "don't shoot what I can't eat", YA ever trap a mouse or squash a bug? Vermin is vermin. That being said, much of the #3 answers I've seen are game animals not vermin.

#1- Whitetail deer
#2- haven't hunted small game in years, but squirrels & rabbits when I did
#3- Um pigeons, rats, coyotes, skunk, groundhogs, sparrows, starlings.

Mostly just shoot skunks around the house, cause they like our dogs a bit too much.

If i find another good place, then the coyotes will be my main target.

Of course rats and pigeons are shot if I get the chance (not often)

The game went very well with the 1st 2, but the young ones struggled with the None Game animals. I have to concede its a strech for them, but still was a lesson for them.
Hogdogs, you are very welcome. I just pray none of you take a more detailed part like those that are involved in some kind of injury or fatality. We get a summary each year with all the fatal and non-fatal statistics in MN.
Anyone wanting a copy of one of the family feud , or jeopardy power point games we use can PM me.

Thanks Art for your help, and this thread can be closed.
