View Full Version : 1858 Remington grips

Who's making replacement grips for Remington replicas?
There's a dude on E-Bay who seems to be molding them in plastic, and I think I saw one other set in white plastic (on dixie, IIRC), for about twice the bread.
Everybody's got the plain wood ones, I'd like to dress mine up a bit.
Love the gun... it's fast becoming one of my favorite pieces.

What Hoss said. Any replacement grips are going to have to be fitted.

But only for the Uberti Millenium & Ruger OA.

BarS TruIvory would be my first choice. It's a great, awfully realistic ivory substitute and fitting is free.

Arcticap, those grips you posted fit the 75 Remington, not the 58.

I agree with Hoss Fly, I have bought several different grips from this e-bay seller (http://cgi.ebay.com/Poly-Ivory-Remington-1858-72_W0QQitemZ190225790956QQihZ009QQcategoryZ73944QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1713.m153.l1262). Always good quality, but need fitting.
Two other sellers that have nice grips.

There's Tombstone Gun Grip Kits (http://www.tombstonegrips.com/) for Remington 58s and most clones.
