I couldnt find anywhere online where it shows details how to disassemble a 11-87.

I know how to field strip it, but I want to take apart the firing pin so I can clean up the junk in there.

I have an 870 and its a breeze to take apart.

Any help?

thanks

The owners manual is on this page. It has step by step instructions.

The 11-87 is not difficult. Sometimes the trigger pins can be tough to reinstall if the feed latch is out of alignment in the frame.

Chinny33:
You have the barrel off, the O-ring off, slide off the piston and piston seal or the new 2 piece snapped together set, push up the carrier[ the part that raises so you can put shells in the mag], Stick your fingers in the gap you just made, push in on the feed latch and slide the action bar assembly out,
now the bolt just lifts off. Clean it up with a tooth brush.
