I recently saw one of these for sale used for $695, I can't find much info on them, are they still made, do they have an adjustable trigger, how much do they weigh? Any info would be appreciated. How about the price?
THANKS BOB

Bob, I'm not aware of a Steyr Mountain Rifle. You might try the links below to see if the rifle you're describing is a part of the current Steyr product line.

The Mountain Rifle is listed on that site, I don't understand the part about the trigger.

I assume you mean the part that says "set trigger or direct trigger". I don't own a Steyr-Mannlicher, but will hazard a guess that this refers to a single-set trigger similar to the one on my CZ.

What that means, in English, is that in one mode it operates just like a normal trigger with a light to moderate pull weight. When operated in "set" mode, the pull weight is much lighter, often less than 1 pound.

Sooner or later, somebody who actually owns a Steyr-Mannlicher will probably come by with the correct info.

Edited to add: By the way, that is one pretty rifle.

I bet you are right about the trigger, my CZ 527 works like that, now all I have to do is justify, $695 for a used gun with a synthetic stock. My opinion is that its a little high.
