Anyone had any experience with one of these? Like the fact you can cock both hammers with your thumb but know nothing about their reliability.

I would think having to look down the wrong end of one of these would be pretty intimidating.

Thanks for your input and thoughts.

I've got one, it hasn't missed a beat, even shot blue rock with it. it's a blast (pun intended).3" buckshot is a little hard on your shoulder what with the steel buttplate.
there is definately somthing about a 20" SBS that makes the barrels look huge:eek:.

I sale them. They are well made and look nice. They are the best hammer coach out there. They are the same shotgun as the EMF 1878 and Cimarron 1878 hammer coach guns.

I've got one and like it. Mine is easy to cock both hammers with one thumb and the fired shells fall right out when the brl. is pointed up. I have put about 500rds. of Win. AAs thru it and it is still very tight -- no wobble between brls. and receiver.

I have one. Its very clean and well put together. No problems at all and real fun to shoot. I think its the best replica of the colt original. At least it was the best I could find.
