What kind of good deals have you found lately on a good used Shotgun / in a pawn shop, internet, a good used gun shop ?

I found a used Benelli Super Sport 12ga last week in a pawn shop locally -
30" barrel, comfort tech stock, 5 extended chokes, hard case, virtually unfired for $ 1,350 / new in my area they are selling for around $ 1,800 with full mfg's list price at $ 1,979. Anyone else find something that "followed them home" recently that was too good a deal to pass up ?

About a month ago I traded a S&W 625 Mtn Gun is .45 colt for a pair of shotguns. I was into the revolver for $379 and haven't shot it in a couple of years so I was more than happy to let it go.

The first one I picked up was a like new 1100 LT-20 with a 28" remchoke barrel manufactured in 1996. It was in perfect shape, albeit a little dusty and came with an IC choke. Replaced the dried out O-ring and popped a skeet choke in it and it has quickly become one of my favorites.

The second was a minty 1972 wingmaster 12ga with a plain fixed mod barrel. The only problem was a small crack in the wrist of the stock. It was easily reapairable and I popped a 30" LC remchoke barrel on it that I had on another gun.

I don't think either gun had a box of shells through them before I got them. I've run a few flats through the 1100 and close to a flat through the wingmaster shooting skeet and some 5 stand over the last few weeks. I definitely think I got my moneys worth on these two.

The way things are now in the country and a dismal outlook, the deals will be getting better. TF
