I just purchased the Mossberg 930 Tactical with the breach barrel (to go with my AR) and am looking for a tube extenstion to give me 2 more shells. Has anyone purchased and extension for this sg? Any recommendations on which one I should get?

I did a search before posting but couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

David

Mossberg puts Choate tube extensions on their 930 SPX.

I have the same gun. What you want is Choate's "7-shot" (#02-04-32) extension tube. The reason I put that in quotes is that it really is only a +2 extension -- if you use the anti-tilt follower that comes with the tube. This tube will be flush with the end of your barrel and is the part used on the SPX model. If you want the 7+1 capacity of the SPX, simply use the stock (cup-type) follower. The Choate extension's finish is a great match for the Tactical.
