I have searched the internet and I cannot find any information on velocity of buckshot after it leaves the barrel.

I would like to know what velocity is 00 buckshot traveling at 10 yards, 25, yards and 50 yards.

I know buckshot loses velocity quickly but I would like to get some data or estimate on their velocities once it leaves the barrel.

The only "safe" way to do this would be to set up a steel plate in front of the chrony and HOPE one of the projectiles went over the eye. Otherwise your (obviously) going to blast your chrony to smithereens. I'm guessing that's why there's no data. 10 yards would be easy I would think, beyond 10 that eye on the chrony is pretty small. I'd say send an email to the company that makes the ammo your interested in and ask for ballistics data. I've sent several emails to remington about their sabot slugs and always get a knowledgeable response, though it usually takes 2 or 3 days.
