I saw this at a local Gander Mountain...

Is it worth the money? I'm looking for a Sporting Clays/Once in awhile Quail Hunting Over/Under....
Thoughts?
Thank you in advance...

Nothing wrong with the Browning Cynergy models - they are different, in terms of barrel connection and in the way the receiver is machined vs their more traditional Citori lineup.
If that model fits you - yes its a good deal. There is a lot of drop at the comb and the heel on this model - so be careful evaluating the fit on this model you are looking at.
The Cynergy model I prefer - is the synthetic Euro sporting model - and it comes with an adj comb - and a more paralell stock (paralell to the rib ) which I think fits more shooters - but that gun retails up around $ 3,000.
Before you decide on the Cynergy model - I would at least look at the Citori models - like the XS Special and the XS Skeet models. Those models are frankly the guns I prefer in the field, for sporting and for skeet. They have the more traditional Browning look to them.

There is a lot of very positive talk about the Cynergy design. It has the weight-forward feel of the slimmer European shotguns, and the strength of a solid lockup like the heavier American over-unders. All in all, a very good design. How does it fit you?

Well I haven't tried it yet, I was wondering even if it is something I should be considering, if it does fit...
Thank you for the replies, keep em coming please....

Well I went to Gander today to try the Cynergy.... I also have been looking at a Beretta White Onyx... I compared both and the Cynergy, is just a heavier gun, it also somehow looks heavier... The wood was kinda drab, and to be honest it just didn't do much for me...
It also only came with one choke, the Browning site shows it coming with three... That's probably how Gander is selling them for a bit less...
Anyways, I passed on it, it is still alot of money, it just wasn't for me...
I think I will save up for a Beretta...
