I took my 17hmr that I really did not need or shoot and traded it for a
Marlin 120 MXR Magnum 12ga Pump.....price tag on the pump was 295.00.
Shoots good but it has a 36" barrel.
Any one know about this model ?

With a 36" barrel I have one question for you......."Have you mounted a bayonet yet?" :D :p

No Bayonet ,but I am thinking I can get a 4 cell mag-light on there.
It does say it is a goose gun. Works good for long shots on quail.:D

If you miss the quail with your shot, you can just bop em in the head.

That barrel is worth the money alone! Good gun, turkey shoot guys and duck hunters love that barrel! Solid model, just couldn't compete with the 870's and Mossberg 500's when it came out. I believe it was the only pump shotgun to ever come from the factory with the 36" bbl option! I sold one with 28' barrel not long ago for almost that much and the 36" bbl guns go much higher.
