Sorry, didn't see the "more" than.

Double Tap offers a 400 gr load.

That is about the best you can get for buying pre-loaded ammunition. Buffalo bore has a mean 360gr @1425fps that I felt was great. Not much flash either.

I did check buffalo bore out i will defenitly check out that 360 gr, and i did check double tap and found 400 gr rounds awful pricey though but you get what you pay for right, Thanks a bunch guys:D

Kind of curious what you are going to shoot that requires more then 38" of buffalo penetration, since that's what a LFN 350 grain bullet at 1550 fps will do...

You'd be hard pressed to find a hog that a 300gr LBT at 1200fps won't punch all the way through. Hell, I can find no fault with the 250gr Keith bullet for such purposes.

Last year I was deer hunting on Richland-Chambers lake down by Corsicana and had 7-8 hogs walk out under my stand. I was hunting with my SRH 454 Casull loaded with some hot loads in 45LC. The bullet was a 300gr XTP and I can't remember the powder off hand, but I punched thru 2 hogs on my first shot. The sow and one of her piglets. The sow jumped up and ran off but the piglet didn't move from where it fell. Tracked the sow for 1/2 hour and never found her. Wish I could have found the sow so that I could have seen where I hit her to get a pass thru. Great gun to hunt with and very accurate.

HMMMM. I asked Tim Sundles at Buffalobore.com what to shoot out of my Seville 45 heavy colt. He said THE round for black bear was a 260 grain Sierra HP at 1450 fps. Didn't get specifics, but, he said that round had been used by rangers for culling, and, it had worked VERY well.
Are hogs tougher then black bear?

Hogs ain't tougher than nuth'n if you hit'm right. Know where the heart is and punch thru to it with a heavy flat nosed cast slug and you'll soon have more pork sausage than you can shake a stick at!!
