How often do you shoot your revolvers? I try to get out once a week. average time is about 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours. Depending on which one I am shooting.:D

I try to get out once every 1-2 months. Family comes first.

Here lately I'm a twice a month firearm shooter. Used to be once or twice a week. As the previous poster said, family comes first. That twice a month includes shotgun/rifle/pistol. I tend to shoot archery more often because I can do that in my backyard. Typically 2-3 evenings a week I'll shoot a few ends.

Most of my range time these days is spent shooting 1911 pistols. I go once or twice a week and shoot for a couple of hours each time. Don't have the energy or endurance to shoot accurately beyond that and I don't like to degrade shooting skills by continuing after I get tired.

Twice a week. No problems with the wife, she's a shooter too, we go together.

Two to three times a week along with about 30 matches a year.

I try to shoot once a week, or atleast every other. Range time is usually a half to 1 hour, depending on how many guns I take, what I want to work on, etc.
When I go to the outdoor range to which I am a member, and don't have to prepay a timeslot, I may be there a few hours. I get to shoot rifles and shotguns there too!

sorry...:o 300 yard range in my back yard...
but I still probably only shoot on the average of once a week... actually probably more like twice a weekend every other weekend... ( I spend the rest of the time mowing & trimming trees )
range time is usually no less than 3-4 hours, & generally includes both handgun ( mostly revolvers ), & rifle... & lately shotgun ( slugs )
handgun back stop & spinners just to the right here...

thanks guys... lots of advantages to having your own range... but with the maintenance... it can & does limit my fun / shooting time...

I "get stuck in traffic" once or twice a week. I never spend alot of time at the range though, get in, get it done and get out.
Probably an 1-1 1/2hr each time. I dont do a lot of target type shooting most of it is just trying to keep the muscle memory in tune. the old guys drinking coffee at the range always whisper as I come and go because I dont shoot bullseye and my groups are damn near 4" wide at 50'!
I've been advised, "You know, if you slow down and aim a little bit, you'd get tighter groups".
Yeah, probably. In my opinion; double and triple taps in a 4" group are better than aimed shots in a 2" group.
YMMV

I usually get to the range about once every two weeks during warm weather, less when it gets colder. I normally shoot between 50 and 100 rounds, just enough to keep proficient in whatever gun I take with me. The cost of ammo keeps me from shooting more.

For me it depends upon the season. During the summer, twice/week ~2-3hrs/visit. The rest of the year, weekly ~1.5 hrs/visit.

Magnum Wheel Man, I forgot to ask is that your neighbor's house at the end of the range acting as a backstop?;)

what ??? that old guy is always cranking about me shooting on my own property... I don't know why he won't let well enough alone ??? LOL...
... actually its a 20ft wide 8 ft high & 5ft thick backstop built out of telephone poles on the corners & center, & double layer thick treated 2 X 8's offset so the seams dont leak dirt, & filled with dirt & assorted "around the farm junk"
I'm still building on it... as I want it about 2ft higher when it's done... & when completed it'll double as a deer stand during deer hunting season ( the drainage ditch is a couple hundred yards behind the backstop...
I don't have a good pic of it, as it's a full 300 yards up a slight hill from my bench... but this is a zoomed pic... a bit grainy... but you get the eye deer...

Four hours at my closest range costs-
4 X $16 =$64.
That's before any targets or bullets.
There is a free range availible about fourty miles away if you want to shoot the SAME TARGET for twenty minutes.
"How's your group?"
"Look at the five inch diameter hole in the paper."
LOL.
I have to find someplace close where a landowner will take ten bucks to let me shoot on a back corner of their multi acre wooded property.
