I have a tactical 870. I'm looking for a good Picatinny rail to mount a red dot sight on. I've been having a hell of a time finding one though. Help Please!

That was my Google search. Came up with at least 4 different places first thing. Didn't look any farther.

Badger Ordnance makes one of the best. Vang Comp Systems installs Badger Ordnance rails on their guns. They're silver soldered on. But then again, they're Marine-proof. You can just screw yours on and it will serve you well.

The Badger is really nice but $100 just for a rail? I was hoping to spend a bit less than that.

just drill and tap the top of the receiver for one. its easy with a drill press.
The other issue is why ?
its a shotgun. use it that way. get a big warthog ivory bead on the front and thats all you need.
if you want to make it a deer gun, then get rifle sights or a cantelever barrel.
