If rust prevention is your goal, it's excellent.

If lube is your goal, there are better but it's not bad.

Breakfree CLP has been my old standby for a lot of years. People swear by different brands and types of oil. I'll stand by what has been good to me: CLP.

happy camper, I think you'll be a happy camper using EEZOX. I've been using EEZOX for years now and it's great as a gun lube and preservative for storage. It works slowly as a cleaner so I use dedicated cleaners like Hoppes #9 for that purpose.

Here's a helpful tidbit- It makes a horrible aftershave. As I accidentally found out when getting some on my neck. :D

PS: There may have been some gin involved beforehand. No firearms were in the house though.

I've used Eezox for years also..here in FL in the hot humid salt air its outstanding and longer lasting corrosion protection is appreciated.
I've also seen it work for people that had problems with pitting and such on their cc firearms(even with stainless) do to their own highly corrosive, acidic, toxic sweat :D ..the eezox would work when other protectants/oils wouldn't.
After several hours it dries to a non messy protective film on the outside of the weapon which also helps it adhere to the surfaces better(I wipe them before bed to allow dry time) ..and as mentioned is great for storage protection to.
However I usually use something like Break Free CLP or Remoil on the inside as lubricants as I feel these fill that role better imo.. and you'll use less eezox :)
Another good external protection trick is to use Johnson's paste wax..is cheap and readily available but can have wax build up over time.
I prefer the eezox ..a little goes along way though.

I've used Eezox exclusively for several years and I wouldn't trade for anything else I've used in the last 48 years of gun ownership. I also live in a very humid climate, and Carry every day exposing my CCW to perspiration all summer. I use it once a month on the CCW and have no rust at all.

I'm a "happy camper" with Eezox. Just remember:
1. THOROUGHLY clean and degrease your firearms.
2. Apply a THIN coat of Eezox.
3. Let it sit overnight.
4. Wipe off excess (if any).
5. Go shootin'
Two key points:
1. Even though after application of Eezox, your gun is protected. It will dry clear and you won't see that it's there. IT IS.
2. The next cleaning session will be much easier. The barrier that Eezox provides will allow quick and easy cleaning of your firearm. You'll be also applying another protective layer when using it as a cleaning agent.
The OCD in me still makes me put a small amount of Tetra Grease on my slide rails. Don't know if it's necessary or not. But, it's good stuff, too...

When I deployed to Germany, I had to leave my firearm collection in non-temperature-controlled shed for three years. After three humid Georgia summers, and three wet winters I retrieved my collection.
Not a speck of rust or corrosion was found. They were all cleaned and lubricated with Eezox before I deployed.
