I need a little help.
For years I 've carried a Dan Wesson FB 715 (357mag) as a back up when I go into the woods. I have kept it clean & shot only about 250 rounds from it. This gun is in excellent condition, but this model is no longer in production and it might be worth alot more thanI bought it, so I need a new one.
I am thinking about A Taurus Raging Bull in 44 mag. I've heard good & bad about this gun. I'm looking for some advise.

No experience with Taurus. Any reason you wouldn't consider a Ruger Redhawk? I have a GP100 and I really like it.

In regards to the Ruger , I do not like the grips, I handled & shot the Redhawk ,Super Redhawk ,Blackhawk & Super Blackhawks and they don't feel right in my hand.

Take a look on the site, where many Taurus owners post. The good, the bad, and the very ugly!!

I recently bought a Ruger Blackhawk Bisley Hunter in .44 mag.

Check it out.

You have a stainless and there are definitely not as many of them around than blued ones, but a fair price for a very good blued one with maybe an extra barrel or two would be $350-400. Maybe it's a couple hundred more or so for a stainless?

Beautiful revolvers (I have a blued one) but forget about them appreciating much. These are not collector's guns. They are up a little bit from 5 years ago, mostly I think because of the effective scuttling of the company's revolver business by CZ. A shame really. On this subject, Grant Cunningham has written an excellent piece on his web site to which anything I could add would be redundant
