Hi I have an old muzzleloader for sale, but do not know any thing about them. I talked to a friend that used to deal in all sorts of guns and he said it is a Target rifle muzzleloader, due to how heavy it is. the barrel is 36" long overall length is 52 1/4". with brass inlay decorative pieces, The hammer is the only thing that is missing. It does need to be restored, I will take 300.00 or best offer. shipping is 25.00. a very nice wall hanger. barrel is 1 3/16" in width, it weighs about 15 lbs, not sure of the caliber, maybe a 45 or 50. if you know anything about this gun please let me know. KURTMARTEN7@AOL.COM' thank you, Martens

Martens,
Obviously, when trying to sell an item on the internet pictures are mandatory, so it's very important that you get that done as soon as possible. There are many details that strongly affect how much the gun is worth, such as maker's marks, type of wood and metal finish, condition, type of ignition, etc.
Do you have a price for your gun? If not, then you need to state that you will take the best offer received by a certain date. If you have a minimum amount you will accept, you should state "best offer over $xxx".
If you expect the buyer to pay for shipping, you need to provide at least a zip code that the item will be shipped from so the buyer can determine how much shipping will cost. If, on the other hand, you intend to charge for packaging, handling and shipping you need to state how much that will be.

Assuming you have digital pictures on your computer's hard drive...
First, open a message window on this site.
There are two choices on how to proceed to insert the images:
1) Type in your message and place the cursor where you want the image to appear.
Go to http://photobucket.com (notice there is NO www), or any of the free image hosting sites, and register for a free account. Follow their instructions to upload your image files to their site. Once the files are uploaded, scroll down to the images and click on the window labeled IMG Code beneath the photo that you want to post. It should then say "copied".
Return to your message and verify the cursor is where you want the image to appear. Copy the image code into the message by either holding down the CTRL key and pressing y, or selecting Edit/Paste from the menu bar. A line of code preceded by the letters IMG in square brackets and followed by /IMG in square brackets will appear.
When you post your message that line will be replaced with the image you selected.
2) Below the message window you opened is a box labeled "Manage Attachments". Click on that box. A new window will appear that has 3 boxes at the top with a "Browse" button next to each. Click one of the buttons, which will open a window showing the files on your computer. Navigate to your image file and select it, then click on the Upload button. Once uploaded the file name will appear in the box. Close the window.
Complete typing your message in the original message window, then post it. The image will appear at the bottom of your message as a thumbnail that readers can select and view.

Gee, I was searching while mykeal was posting!
Anyway, there are several ways described in the thread linked below from our sister website, thehighroad.org.
The formats are basically the same.
My post is #3. :)
