I think it's time for an handgun hunting show to air on the Outdoor channel.

I have already discussed this with the publishers of a "leading" handgun hunting publication. They do not think the sponsorships would be enough to make it a go. I disagree. Then again, I am a factory rep and baseball coach so what do I know...

I'd watch it only if Ted was doing it. I've otherwise become jaded with the TV hunts. But I'll bet Ted could do a great job of it, and I could learn alot, seeing I've just gotten a TC contender with a 35Rem barrel, and already have been practicing with my Super Blackhawk 44 for doe season.

I agree, Uncle Ted would do a great job. I've taken many deer with 44 mag.
revolvers and with TC Contenders as well as elk.
Good luck with yours Huntergirl.

How could you propose such a thing? When everyone knows that Hand guns are only used by inter city thugs and Mafia hit men and besides that, wouldn't the reflexion off the Nickle or chrome plating spook the game.Seriously we just got a handgun season here in Iowa 3years ago and it was a great sucess. .357 and above single shot or revolver I am not sure about semi autos. Some one should give uncle TED a call it would be great T.V good luck and good shooting ELMOUSMC

There was a series of shows on TV that showed a woman hunting with a hand gun. She took black bear, deer and IIRC a Marco Polo Sheep...
