mossberg 500 slide release question

Does anyone know of an extention so I can reach it with my thumb easier? Or do I have to have my thumb surgically stretched? thx!

Use the "bird finger" on your right hand (if you shoot right-handed). Index finger outside trigger guard, reach back with bird finger, it's right there. Quicker'n snot.

Yep right handed middle finger here too. Wouldn't know how to leftie fire or release the slide...

Never thought about it myself so I had to pick mine up and see....I'm right handed and use my right middle finger also.
