I recently purchased a Savage Model 12FV in .223 which I plan to do a little long range shooting. Can someone give me a starting point concerning the overall length of this round?(using Sierra .224 69 gr. HPBT match bullets)

Trim length is 1.750"
Max case length is 1.760

Minimum COL is usually listed as 2.260". You individual rifle may differ.

Any of the online powder companies will list this in their load data.
