The cheapest 00 Buck I can find is either Fiochi or Seler and Bellot.

Do these two companies make acceptable buck shot or should I avoid them like a gay virgin at an Aids convention?

the s&b 9 ball 00 shot fine for me. no ftf or fte. they make a 12 ball 00 i didn't try that yet or the fiocchi. the s&b says that they may not work in the browning auto 5 shotgun because of shell length.

I just buy my slugs and buckshot from wal mart usually. Bought some #4 buck for yotes at the gun shop and they were a bit over a buck per round...

Both S&B and Fiocci are quality product and I wouldn't hesitate to give either one a try.

Try as many brands as you can lay your hands on, some will pattern better than others in a given shotgun.

PS - Dave I know you're fairly new here but I'd remind you to perhaps use less colorful language in your analogies ;^)
